Pickled Garlic Bread

We’re baking comfort with butter, garlic, parmesan, and a sprinkle of Filipino soul. Whether it’s pan de sal or sourdough, every slice tells a story. Pair it with Pik-a-Pikel for that tangy twist!


Prep Time: 8-10mins

Cook Time: 10-12mins

Servings: 6-8


Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread or 6 pan de sal (split in half)

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

  • 8 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated

  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt to taste


Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Make the garlic butter: In a bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, and salt until well combined.

  3. Spread generously on each bread slice or halved pan de sal.

  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden and the top is bubbling.

  5. Serve warm, garnished with a pinch more parsley or extra Parmesan if desired.
