Prep Time: 20mins
Cook Time: 10-15mins
Servings: 6-7
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice
1 can Luncheon Meat (12 oz)
½ cup Pik-A-Pikel Pickled Garlic
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup oyster sauce
1 pc nori sheet
2 tbsp oil
Procedure:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Slice the meat to your desired thickness. Coat evenly in the marinade and let sit for 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook slices until lightly browned, about 2 minutes per side. Set aside.
Line the empty luncheon meat can with cling wrap. Place a strip of nori inside, allowing it to hang over the edges.
Press ⅓ cup of rice into the can, flattening gently. Top with a slice of cooked luncheon meat and one slice of pickled garlic. Lift out using the cling wrap.
Fold the nori strip around the rice stack. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
Enjoy warm for comfort or chilled for a refreshing snack.
